r34 head unit

I started pulling my sterio out the other day but i'm stuck as to how to get it out. it seems to be stuck aroung the air conditioning face. does that need to come off ? anyone know . thanks

sorry got another question now. where is there a hole in the fire wall to run the amp power cables, looked but couldn't see nothing except behind the abs but too hard to get to . anyone ?

There's one on the drivers side by his feet but it's a tight fit as it already has some cables there. If you've got some heavy duty gauge cable (2 or 4) then you might have to cut your own hole.

to get the radio out remove the ashtray , remove the screw behind it and remove that panel. pop the a/c vents out and that will show you the two screws that you missed.

for power cable drivers side wheel well.

( did one over the weekend so its still fresh.)
