dlskip
G'day, Sorry to be a pain, but does anyone know how to set the clock on an Addzest ADX5455 CD player? I've checked out the Clarion website (the associated company of Addzest) for a manual, but their instructions for similiar units don't work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Guest SPOOLIN
I have the ADX8455 but my manual is in Japanese, so ill do my best *dodgy* translation. 1] push adj button. 2] push up or down on the volume wheel( round thing) till "clock" is displayed. 3] push play/pause/ent button(middle of the round thing). 4] move left or right on the volume wheel. 5] move up and down on the volume wheel. 6] repeat steps 4 & 5 7] push play/ent button. 8] push adj button. hope this helps Lee Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/6952-addzest-clock-setting/#findComment-105626 Share on other sites
dlskip
Thanks for the reply, but my head unit doesn't have an 'ADJ' button. On the Clarion site, it says to hold the BAND and DISPLAY buttons together to get into time setting mode, but it just doesn't work. Thanks very much for your reply though. Very appreciated. Guest Mr Benz
Did you ever get the time set on your ADDZEST? Do you still have it? If so here's how you set it. 1. Turn the ignition to ACC position 2. Push the DISPLAY button until the time shows up 3. When you get to the time press and hold the the BAND and #4 buttons at the same time 4. Watch the display where it has the 4 arrows...you should see the yellow writing disappear and the "HOURS" start to blink on the time 5. Adjust the hours up or down by pushing the 4-way button either up or down 6. Push the 4-way button to the right or left and the minutes should start blinking; repeat the up or down like you did for the hours 7. When you have the time set, push the BAND button again and you're done! If you have any questions please reply. Wendell aka Mr Benz You can have your webmaster remove me now, I just wanted to answer your question. (I stumbled upon it while searching GOOGLE for the same problem you were having) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/6952-addzest-clock-setting/#findComment-458459 Share on other sites

Downforce
Ahh.. Don't you just love those double DIN aftermarket japanese head units that come installed in alot of skylines along with all the other goodies... I have a Addzest MAX-4555z GPS/TV/CD/MD, touch screen motorized head unit, with CD stacker & Addzest NAX-010VD (GPS Car Navigation & DVD-VIDEO) system. It's very cool. I still havent discovered all the features of the unit, so many configuration options. It has digital sound processing, graphic EQ, full screen graphics, etc. Unfortunately the DVD player is not multi/region 4, and the TV tuner is NTSC only but I still love it If anyone knows a specialist installer or car audio workshop who can convert the DVD player to multi region PAL, and convert the TV tuner box to receive australian TV frequencies let me know.
