clear or smoked side winkers

Hey i was wondering what would look better on a silver r33 gtst, clear side indicators or smoked side indicators, the smoked ones look like they are tinted black

mine are kind of brown/amber sort of colour, can post pics up later if u want

just a qn, what's the difference if u put clear indicators?

isn't it more visible if they are amber? just curious...

the lense is clear but you still have abmer globes in them .. you can actualy get globes that are silver looking until they are turned on, its just so that you dont see the amber globe behind the lense when its not lit up..

Ive never been a fan of the amber lenses

i was just checking them out as well, http://www.nengun.com/ has a set of clear ones going for $42, another site http://www.msiracing.com.au/parts/category8_2.htm has them going for $99, but they have the nismo centre console gauges $100 cheaper then nengun, you really have to shop around. and compare.

if that price from Nengun is delivered then that's an awesome price.

Do a search for Nismo on ebay, some of the crap they sell to the american market is just funny, fake nismo everything.

with nengun u have to include delivery. its best if ur buyin small stuff from nengun to get a few things to fit in the box so u just ahve to pay delivery charges once.

i got them off ebay, for 62.50 delivered.

I recommend checking ebay for stuff, there is someone on there that had them fpor $60 buy it now price, he has quite a few of them ..

i have seen a picture of an r33 with clear tail lights, it looked pretty good

go for the smoked ones, i got them for my dark blue r33 and my mate has clear on his black r33.

smoked are still only very light grey, very subtle difference.

the clear ones make it too easy to see the orange blinker thru the clear lens and the smoked ones make the car look heaps cleaner.

also don't look too ricey (IMO) as opposed to the clear ones.
