Hi there and welcome so SAU Vic!

The best place you could go to get some idea's on color's etc for your car would be at Autosalon this weekend. We have a stand there with 15 cars from the club plus there will be a bunch of other skylines from other clubs through-out the show.

But if you come to the show come up and say hi and introduce yourself!

Hey, welcome to SAU Vic!

Nice car, interesting graphics you have there.. something different!

Come down and meet the crew at AutoSalon this weekend @ the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, most of us will be there.

We also have regular monthly general meetings in South Melbourne, all are welcome to come along.

here's a pic of my R34....

Hey there, welcome to SAU! Couldn't agree more, pop into Autosalon, say hi to us and have a look at all the cars there. House of Kolour are normally there and they have a good display of custom colours for paint work, some very sexy colours too!

Did someone say stickers!!!!

Thanks for letting me know about the car show on the weekend. I didn't even think of that.

I will definately come up on the weekend.

I'm actually thinking of resparaying it blood red. I haven't seen a red skyline yet. What do you's think?

Come along to AutoSalon this weekend and have a chat.

We'll be there aaaaallllll weekend.

Look for people in black and red Polo's

Also check out this thread here

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=60590

It has all the details for the SAU-Vic club, thats if your interested in joining SAU-Vic, we currently have 120+ members i think from last count, which is superb

And then you get access to members only deals and cruises (there is a cruise may 15th)

Yeah I can't find the thread but there was a HOT R34 with a custom red paint job and a cf bonnet in the for sale section that looked awesome.

It's no bayside blue but it's an acceptable substitute!

Oh My Freaken God That Is The Exact Red That I Want. I Went To Chapel Street On The Weekend And I Saw A Red R34. I Absolutely Fell In Love With It. Thats Where I Got The Idea From

That Is Absolutely Stunning

Hows that ey! There is one or two of the red 34's round. One of our members drives one, it's a standard R34 GTT Colour

So the myth is true, red cars do go faster and thats why your painting it.

That R34 Red was my car, I just painted on of my cars the XR6 Blueprint - came out nice, and right now have another car which is being painted the Holden Red (Monaro).

I will also be getting one of my other cars resprayed Acid Rush (New Ford colour - mustard type with pearl look).

If your interesting in getting your cars's colour changed, i can organise a good price for you.

Devil - also contact Troy (forum user name = ylwgtr2) - he's done a LOT of cars from here and is an active member of SAU Vic as far as a respray goes.

Always looks after people from SAU.

Anyways.... Troy's number is 0417 563 600

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
