As most of you know, Snowman & Scotsman (with possibly other SAU members entering) are taking on the big guns in this years Dutton Rally of Victoria, to be held 28-31 July - Click HERE for further details

Well as the Dutton Rally is fast approaching and seeing as its such a big event, we started thinking accommodation may be hard to find so..... Min and I have booked a cabin at a caravan park across the road from where the boys will be staying.

This is going to be one hell of a weekend, lots of cars, lots of racing, lots of the infamous SAU (I mean Taco Bills) margharitas. So, if anyone else is planning to come to Shepparton for a great racing/social environment and of course to show your support, accommodation details are below:

Where: Victoria Lake Holiday Park, 536 Wyndham Street, Shepparton

Phone: 5821-5431

When: 28/29 & 30 July

Our cabin is a Deluxe cabin and has 1 queen, 1 double & 1 single and works out to be about $40/night. So there are a few extra beds in with us if anyone’s interested let me know.

Cabin is self contained and has:

Shower/Toilet, TV/VCR, Aircon/Heating, Fridge, Oven/Hotplates, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle etc...

BYO Linen - sheets/doona/pillow/towels

It's cheap and quiet accommodation on a lake - what more could you ask for!!

My advice is for anyone wanting to bother coming to this is to be there for the Friday. Friday is the best day for spectating. Saturday is basically just Winton and with 3 cars on at once isn't exciting, and Sunday is back in Melbourne. But the Friday has all the stuff at DECA and at the Shep Airport - which is the coolest stuff to watch.

I heard Joel's mum wouldn't let him go because he hadn't finished the DECA photos.

Uh huh. That's what I heard. Just saying is all

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
