Does anyone know if the bearings assemblies are the same for the RB26? The RB25 ones? Bearing Industries thought they might be, but were not sure. Just want to confirm before I purchase.

Cheers,

Dan :)

When I inquired at Bearing Industries, they did say that if you bring down your old bearing/s, they will match it/them up with new ones.

So you can give them the part numbers to see if they have stock, then take your's down and compare before you buy!

But, from the above post, it looks like you don't have to worry...

Idler: NSK 56TB 2801 B01

Tensioner: NSK 60TB 0683 EA7L 806

I think the idler was the more expensive one (about $48). The tensioner about $28

These were for an R33!!

Not sure if R32 is the same. The tensioner is the same as for VL commo hence its cheapness.

Sorry for bringing this thread back..

Can someone else please confirm these part numbers for the ECR33 tensioner and Idler pulleys/bearings.

I have seen a few different numbers. I know CBC has apparently got a different number, it would be good to have the genuine NSK product numbers and possibly even the CBC ones so there's no confusion.

Thanks

i got mine from bearing industries in yennora yesterday

$82.50 for the pair

no idea on the part numbers tho, the guy at the shop knew what i was looking for straight away

edit: for an RB20 by the way

    • That's all I needed mate thanks.  For context, we've seen a big number of old accounts being hacked into and then used to post spam. I was wondering if yours had also.  I've never had a good funnel. My driveway can attest to that. 😔
    • I am not a spammer ,, all I can say I have been member of the forum since a while ,,,,and as admin you can verify the time of registration I have 5 funnels none of them fit firmly. Similar thread was posted on the forum below but  it is US based : https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/no-more-spilled-oil-during-an-oil-change-spill-free-oil-funnel.26438/page-2
    • Your post has me puzzled. I have a lot of "spammer" warning signs flashing at me.  Are you honestly, truly, asking for our feedback on oil funnels? For 4 completely different cars?  They're 20 bucks! Just buy one and see!  Maybe I'm missing something?  My finger is hovering above the "flag as spammer" button... Convince me not to click it.
    • I used to have Walbro 255's when they were a pretty common update. (or were they 044? 040?) In any case I had a dirty tank. I thought the tank was good, but I would find the filter would clog in maybe ~50km of driving. If the issue persists, well, your fuel system or tank has crap in it that the pump is sucking up.
    • Hi. Ok thanks for the info. I/we do not know what tune is on that Nistune ECU so it is why there is stock ECU and that Nistune is for later when the car is done. I have guy who tunes Nistune and other ECU so i will then take it to him to see and properly tune for the car   And for the update. On 99,9% it is bad fuel pump. Which is wierd cuz it is like 2 years old(brand new walbro 255) and that filter (also brand new) was dirty.  I was alwaya pumped premium(100) on very good petrol station so i dont know how is that possible...
