r32 cooling system connector

i have just done a fair bit of work on my r32 gtst eg had head off etc

and there is just one thing i am not sure of...there is some wires that comes out of the bottom right of the radiator and go up to a connector on the side of the radiator. Just a 2 wire connector...now i had to rewire this connector due to it being corroded and i broke a little terminal so had to track down a new one and now sure if i have wired it right or back the front.

So what i am trying to find out is what exactly this connector does so that i can check if it is working or i have got the wires back the front.
