Blocked Boost Control Pipes

Hi all,

I would like to know what these pipes being blocked means. I am referring to the T-Piece with solder on the end and the hose just behind that is blocked with a screw.

A bit of background: the car performs normally with a steady boost of just under 7psi. Boost comes on steadily and doesnt drop at all.

Is this a known mod and could the car have had a boost controller in the past. More pics available at:

Just to add, I'm not too keen in unsealing the t-piece and seeing what happens.

Ya the solderied pipe and the one with the screw in it would of gone into the stock boost solenoid.

Theres also a metal restrictor thingy in the pipe that comes out of the big black plastic intake pipe. Its the pipe that connects to the left of the 'T'. This wont let ya run the boost to high anyways. (took me 3 days to figure this out and get my boost controller to work grrrr )

Careful though, cause if you replace the piping without a controller or restrictor etc the turbo will run realy high, and then it wont run anymore
