NDR...Your very ain't Shuie...LOL. But I will agree to the FERRARI and Schumacher decision to make Rubens pull over and let Michael by - At the same time, its happened some many times before why is everyone getting so upset about it...as if it wasn't going to happen!

A highly rated German Autosport Publication has claimed that they have confirmation from the FIA that Schumacher will be demoted to second place. The FIA was denied the fact.

I will always love a good argument about MS. I won't deny that I think his "tops" and deserves the championship. But on the other hand I will also be sensible and state I hated what he did in Austria this year and the Jerez incident.

I hope Rubens does get 1st place...he deserved it. But MS will still win the title.

Peak,,,I'm not really against Shu,,,as I told you on the Cruise,,,,I just love stirring the pot....He is the best Tar driver in the World.

I just feel a bit sad for Rubins,,,,he worked bloody hard and ended up 1st looser.

Remember,,,,Everybody's entitled to there opinion,,,unfortunately Mines always Right.

This is not Michale Shumachers fault, It is the Ferrari team leader and Rubens fault. Why Rubens fault you ask? Well, he followed the instructions and let Michael through. He SHOULD have done what was right and said "no". Whoever told Rubins to let Schueu through obviously isn't very sportsman like. Rubins worked hard for the win, and is the forgotten hero on the ferrari team. He's a good driver - It's not fair that he has to give way to his team-mate. If the Ferrari team keeps up with things like that, the Formula One community will be looking shamefully upon them that is for sure. I think the decision to take the 4 points off Schumacher and give them to Rubins was great. He deserved them after all. You can't really blame Michael Schumacher, he didn't even know rubins was slowing down as far as i know, and didn't have enough time to back off either.... he was accellerating hard onto the straight. He DID let rubins have the trophy and from what i saw wasn't too happy about the teams decision either.

Just my thoughts

Ryan

He wouldve been happy to be a Pit mechanic for Ferrari if he didnt listen to the orders.

Schumacher doesnt need the points, he's far ahead, but took the points because the championship isnt secured as yet. If he crashes and breaks something (like he did the the year when Hakkinen won it the second time in a row), he wouldnt be driving, which would still allow one of the williams drivers to catch up and take the glory away from Michael.

Im not a fan or Ferrari, but am a fan of F1, and its a Team Sport, and Team Orders are a part of the sport. everyone should get over it.

No decision has been made on Ferrari yet.

I doubt he will lose the points he aquired as the FIA are more likely to fine Ferrari for the podium thing. If team orders are illegal, then they, and may other teams will have been screwed over before.

Rubens cannot ignore the call to move over. It's written in his contract. However, Ralf was told to move over for Montoya, which he said he couldn't hear because of radio problems. Understand that Rubens cannot simply ignore the call because it could be his job on the line.

I hate team orders myself, but it's always been apart of F1.

You can say F1 is a team sport...But in the end, it'll be schuie that takes the glory, schuie that takes the blame. No one cars who Ferrari's team manager is, who made the call, it came down to his choice, take the lead, or don't.

And if he didn't pass ? They're going to fire him ? NO CHANCE IN HELL.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
