sounds pretty good to me, if i can get my exhaust done for that im laughing.

Is it very loud WazR32GTSt?

its not loud at all

i paid a bit more for a larger resonator ('hot dog' or whatever you call it)

that's the key i think to a nice sounding exhaust that's not too loud but still flows well...

the problem with lots of jap ehausts is they hang very low, almost scraping the ground. i've heard of cars with stock ride height being defected for too low based on the lowest part of hte car being the exhaust hanging

and with mine i could choose what muffler i wanted. as in they can attach a mufler and if its too quiet they can change it untill i'm happy. i was happy anyway with the cannon they had initially. plus i got it out on a slight angle, just what i wanted. that's what you get with a custom job

i personally can't see any horsepower difference with a custom compared to jap. people claim the R&D that has gone into the jap exhausts but is it really going to make that much of a difference? if any?

Warren.

It can be hard to find a decent R32 exhaust.. a shop either wants buckets for their system (which may be not good for japanese car anyhow).. or straight new from japan (exxy..mostly the freight cost).. If you are on a bit of a budget its not the easiest, compared to the more common r33 exhaust.

anyhow, in the end was just easier to buy one of one of the guys on here as i know their car had some good power before they needed more.. if they would hurry up and pull it off their car! :( been waiting so long .. hint.. whinge, etc..

some slack people on this board i tells ya....

I will be the first to agree with you in saying that they do hang low. However, even though my 3.7" is tucked up quite close to the floor, due to the nature of a fat pipe it will still hang like dogs.

I bought a jap bolt on because it is exactly that - bolt on. No scraping, no knocking, no hassles. But I'm lazy.

That's not to say a custom one won't be better; if I had free reign ($$) i'd get a custom cat back made up in twin titanium 2.5" with twin resonnators, collecting into single rear muffler and twin outlets. Quiet, light, ultra free flow and excellent clearance.
