Guess what guys there are 2 things goin for you-

1- BATMBL is a champ, and

2- This group buy has been plagued by dreamers.

BATMBL has decided to a.) honour your group buy price b.) not wait for the others.

As a result you guys will get yours sent out probably first thing next week.

If anyone else wants to buy these as part of the group buy they should scroll up and pay BATMBL before then.. THIS INCLUDES PEOPLES ALREADY REGISTERED IN THIS GROUP BUY. No cash, no group buy, bad luck.

I'm never organising a group buy every again unless money is up front the amount of timewasters is ridic.

Thanks again BATMBL. Anyone wanting HID kits buy from BATMBL. Good vendor that's been around with SAU for ages and is a pleasure to deal with providing a great product at a great price.. What more could you want?

JK and KICKIN when you get your kits let us know how it goes!

Fellars, this is a big shame. CC is a great bloke, who has gone out of his way to organise this. He doesn't get anything out of it. It is not a crime to be unsure whether you want to buy something. Nor is it a crime to ask questions about a product. The fact is, if you were unsure whether you wanted it in the beginning, you shouldn't have confirmed you wanted it. Make up your mind first, then say yes. No one will shoot you, but it just means that your word means nothing.

I have taken advantage of group buy myself. Good Product. Good Price. No issues. Straight plug and play. The product is tried and tested. It is available from a supplier in Sydney + best of all, warranty is obtained from the supplier, not some dodgy warehouse in Taiwan.

CC - Sorry about the full inbox mate. It's empty now.

Just went to the PO box and got my lil beauties!!!

they definatly xeeded my expectation, look high quality and the way they've been packed in there box looks fancy.

thx BATMBL and Someonestolecc

:O

Good to hear KICKIN - let us know when you put em in what you think. I love mine :(

Be very very careful with the white ceramic coated part of the bulb (it runs under the actual globe) - and remember not to touch the bulb itself with your fingers or get it dirty!!

But yeah let us know :)

Here are some pics I took of where I mounted my bits

http://www.sido-takushi.com/mods/kaixen_hid

It was very very easy to install...

Only thing I noticed when i installed it is that on the first power up the ballasts buzzed like all fk... but settled down after about 10-15 seconds.

Unfortunate circumstances have come up and i'm selling my car. My HID kit is for sale separately. If anyone wants it, it's in the for sale section.

h1 6000K. Includes 1.5 year warranty instead of the normal 1 year. Only used for 3 days, then it was removed. Includes everything.

If they flicker you've got a dud battery or a bad ground or something causing it to not get enough current. I would advise NOT using them till you have sorted this out.

By buzz if you mean when you turn them on they're fuzzy (you can just hear the ballasts whine a little in this time if you're listening for it) while they're warming up that's normal HID behaviour. I like turning them on and watching them warm up :) Impresses the chicks too :D

Gday,

Take a pic top down really close so I can see the indentations on the "skirt". If one side is like a cutout circular half moon and the other side is a shallower rectangle then yes I think it is.

I do have a feeling the H3C one leg is a little longer. I've got a diagram at work I'll post it up tommorz.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
