hi all...

looking to see if theres any interest in my 32 GTR

has dammaged engine ie piston faliure on no.6 cylinder.

two ways i can go about it, as regardless, i want to get rid of the car.. either i fix it & then sell it, or as im doing now see if any one wants it now, so they can do what they wish to the eng to have a really tuff street car.

as most of you know it has a lot of goodies on it & will run the numbers down the track... as per date its run 116mph passes on 0.9 - 1.0 bar & best et of 11.86 on the brakes with only a 106mph on that pass. THIS IS A TUFF STREET CAR.

the car has nearly a years rego on it here in W.A.

it is fully permitted as i had a sticker on it two weeks ago, including permits for the 19inch rims!

Recent retro fit aircon system (fitted only 2weeks ago)

stereo:latest model pioneer MP3 player, subwoofer etcetc

full autowatch blue alarm, remote central locking.

Car is currently insured for 30k for ideas on value.

i will add more things as i can remember them lol.

**also what is already inside the eng is unknown

Firstly, what year is this car built. That will determine how much this car is really worth. And secondly, if you are really keen to sell this then please list exact price you are after so that we all can judge what money you are actually after. 20 plus or so if very vague, so unless you post a rough close estimate to what you are after, then ppl interested can make reasonable offers. At the moment without knowing its not a 1989 model, then i would stand by 17,000 max as im assuming that it would be a 10 year old import under the old SEVS rules.

ok, headlights arent any differant as far as i know.

it is only a 89 model...

i would like to get 23500 for it... i was offered 17k for it on sunday, but that is not in the ball park, i have had other interest at 20k..

ive got two months to sell the car so im not in a massive hurry, but if the interest falls off soon i may start hunting for a low km import eng.. then if i sell it with a low km import eng with std turbo's how much do you guys think i could get??

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
