Hey i am still kind of new the the forums here, anyway just went for a cruise with some friends and we were followed by what looked in my rear mirror as in R33 so i slowed down a bit to get a closer view. Then i noticed it was a station wagon asn was like WTF then i talked to the guy at the lights and told me it was a stagea RS4.

At the moment i own a 180sx and looking to buy an S15, 33GTR, or maybe a 34GTT. I REALLY liked the idea of having a car which looked like a station wagon but with the RB power.

To help me out would you guys help me out. I have only seen one before and it looked nice, but i want to see some with kits, rims, looking nice and maybe some photos of engine bay stuff like that, maybe some crazy conversions aswell?

Any feedback is helpful.

Also one more thing. Would it be best to import or buy in australia? I would prefer a manual but i noticed the stick thead "manual conversion" which has made me think its going to be hard to find a manual.

Also the guy said Stagea's come with a RB25DET but hes doing a RB26DETT conversion.

Cheers,

Jay thats an awesome car! But at the moment like that other guy i could offer you my 1994 180sx and cash... I will put my car up for sale in a few weeks time, but i will get a full respray before i sell it.

I noticed some of the stagea's had GTR badges in mcnamg's gallery. I thought stagea's were RB25DET?

Also are they AWD or was it the later models which were AWD?

Anyone know where i can download some movies of stagea's?

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
