R32 GTS25 Qs?

I've got a few questions about the R32 GTS25. I've tried to search for info on them but have come up with very little. In fact I'm having trouble finding one for sale on the net.

1. How common are they?

2. How much do they go for? (Tried the tradinpost for an average but there weren't any)

3. How much does one weigh?

4. What gearbox is in one?

5. What speedo drive do they use, are they mechanical (like the 32) or electronic (like the 33).

6. Do they have LSDs?

7. I just need to confirm that they cannot be imported anymore under the new sevs laws, correct?

Here is what i know... others can prolly fill in the blanks

1. Pretty common. You see quite a few around. Probably less than an R33 - hard to tell, they tend to be a lot less done up with kits and the like than 33's i've noticed so probably stand out less.

2. Around 11-16k for an R32 GTS-T in melbourne.

3. Weight is 1320kg

4. Not exactly sure, but its good. Not many people have to replace their gearbox when spec'ing up their Skylines. Clutch often has to be upgraded.

5. I think they're mechanical...or was that the power steering? Anyway, not sure

Trading post is useless this time of year, nobody really bothers advertising. Give it a few weeks to look for other examples.

Bit of a difference between the GTSt and GTS25 predator

They're rare, I think i've only seen a couple on the road, and none for sale. Hence it may be hard to estimate the price, but i'd say somewhere between $12-15K. I guess they'd have the n/a RB25DE gearbox... and doubt they had an LSD (the GTS didnt).

Logically, they should be able to be imported, as they meet power to weigh ratios and so forth, same power as a R33 GTS and they can be imported...

Thanks Morgs can anyone else confirm this aobut th importing of a R32 GTS25? I heard a rumour that you couldn't import non turbo cars now.

Oops...my mistake morgs... disregard.. i was talking GTS-T you're right. If its the GTS25 there aren't much around that i've seen. Although why would you specifically hunt out an R32 RB25DE ?

you could always buy a manual r32 n/a and then buy my rb25de from my r33

I don't want another turbo car. I've already got one. I just want a nice car that I can drive around, to and from work thats comfortable and looks different. It gives me chance to keep the kms off the good car (the Calais). I'm not the biggest fan of the RB20, and I quite like the R32 shape. I can't afford a second turbo car atm, but would like one I can convert to turbo. I imagine that a R32 gts25 already has eletronic speedo drives etc, so it saves me some work down the track. Thats my reasoning for looking into one. If any one has some more info please let me know.
