i wanted to know any past experiences with kamikazemotors has anyone purchaused a vechile from them and how did everything go?

Has anyone had any problems with them?

just cause i am thinking about getting a car from them but have heard some bad feedback so just wanted to be sure on weather to buy from them or not.

Any feedback would be appricated thanks

P.S sorry if this is in the wrong section please move to appropriate section thanks

My mate was after some cheap rims and he didnt want to buy brand newy's so i suggested to try an importer or parts shop. I told him kamikaza might have some spare stuff and he went over and picked up some schlick looking 18x10s Rays rims for his car.. Said the guy was real good to deal with.. Thats my 2c worth...

I bought my R33 from them and Im very happy with the car........but i'd never go back again. They have no clue whats going on, and they are also very dishonest.

After my first service, there was a rattle.. so i took the car back the next day, that afternoon i call them up.. "yes yes its all fixed".. I had heard from the people at the tinting shop next door my car had been in the driveway the entire day. Funnily when I got it back it still had the same rattle. 3 visits back it was all fixed!!!

Not to mention they helped themselves to my stock intercooler in the boot.... helped them selves as in stole.......

and they also "replaced" my brilliant windscreen wipers with some pieces of crap which dont actualy seem to wipe anything (kinda odd..).

My $850 new clutch I purchased from them also turned out to be worth about $300. I know places add on markup obviously but thats ridiculous.

anyways so to summarise :P stay clear of them. Its time all these dodgy places smarten up.

Also normaly I wouldnt be so mean publicaly :D but im just answering somebodies question (theres more as well, but the above should cover it for now) :)

which 1 in particular as i'm thinking of purchausing from the nadawading store cause they have 1 in keilor aswell.

i really appricate the feed back thanks i have also heard they change parts i just wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen to them but yeah thanks for all the feedback guys and if anyone else has any other comments please post them

i have been there a few times and the guys are very helpful, but i wouldnt trust the km on the cars personally, i have seen to many with 60,000 km which look like they have done 200,000km...

as long as you know what you are looking for you shouldnt have a problem....

ya im talking about the nunawading store.

Tint professor people were gr8 btw, they gave me great deal on tinting :D AND they kindly told me how my car hadnt been worked on all day (like kamakazee motors had told me) but instead sat in there driveway.

Oh btw, I got my car in december 2004.

A few weeks ago when I moved I told vicroads i changed my address, so i had to change my licence / car rego. Surprise surprise they hadnt bothered to tell vicroads it was now MY car.... 6 months on.

I think these days you could find a car waaaay cheaper if you bought it privately, seems most ppl get desperate to sell real quick.

The only advantage if you buy it through an importer is you get conned into buying the $$$$ warranty which doesnt actualy cover anything when your car brakes down :P

which car you want to buy from them anyways ?

i was gonna get the purple gtr they have there but funds arnt letting me so i was gonna get the white 96 supra rz therres 51,xxxkms on the clock but the clock is digital odo so im not sure if it can be wound back can it? went for test drive in it and only problem with it was the clutch pedal was sqeeking which got anoing but yeah not sure weather ill get it anymore.

i was gonna go put a deposit today being monday but yeah doesn't sound like a good place to get a car as i dont need any issues to arise later down the line thanks guys very much appricate the feedback

Tint professor might have good prices but there quality is not up to scratch.

Drove home with a few bubbles(spears). Managed to push a couple down but there was one obvious one that remained. Took it back and they had to do one whole window again. Drove home and the next day another spear appeared. I had to keep pushing it down every day until it totally dissappeared.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
