Ok people maybe I missing something here.. but like how do you do a burnout  ?

I've tried the hole revving her then quickly braking thing.. the car just hops along as if the brakes are to strong or something..

I went to calder for the first time tonight, and god its embarassing not doing the hole burnout thing before hand :) Never realy anoyed me until now (due to the fact I hadnt been to calder b4) So I need detailed instructions on how exactly to do it please.

Also I know doing burnout before race wont realy affect my car/tyres since it isnt exactly a a full on drag car, but its pissing me off now that I cant.

question>

thanks heaps ppls :)

just disconnect your rear brakes or get some sort of line locker and go nuts

but this is generally the order

1) rev it to about 3k (depending on power of your car)

2) drop the clutch

3) get it revving around 6-7k

4) quickly introduce the brake pedal but only do it enough so you dont move

5) look in the rear view to see the smoke billowing out ya ass :)

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
