Well, I wasn't expecting to be posting this so soon after selling my last one (R32 V-spec), but here I am. We picked up another R32 GT-R yesterday from C-Red. It will predominantly be driven by my wife (with kids in the back), so if you see a red wine coloured R32 GT-R with Buddy Club P1's (Hypergold) on it, give her a wave. Number plates are VSPEC32.

She's on fairly stock condition at the moment, with the only mods being K&N filters, Exhaust and a couple of Nismo turbines. Power is a little low at this point because the turbs are only running at 0.5 bar and they probably only start working well around 1.0 bar. The P1's are brand new 17x9's with some basic (but new) Nankang 255 section rubber.

Keep an eye out for this one over the next couple of years. Plans include PFC and associated Apexi EBC. Brake upgrade (I'm wishing for some Brembos as were on my last one), suspension, clutch, pump and injectors.

Anyway, keep an eye out and say g'day.

Cheers

Brendan

Have you still got the old plates that you used to have? VSPEC32

can't go wrong with the wine red colour hey Brendan! .....Skyzer even though he has a 32 he can be part of our sexy red line gang :-)

Wind those advanced turbo puppies up and gimme a dyno reading! :uh-huh:

Is there much of a cabin size difference between the silvia and the 32 GTR?

Pics??

Yep, brought the plates out of storage and put onto the 'R. The cabin size is considerably bigger (mainly length) than the Silvia. And the boot's a little bigger too. Had basic pics taken yesterday, will post up once I get them (mate took them).

Cheers

Brendan

Hi Brenden,

I was at the Silvia club cruise last night, the purple R33 GTR. VERY Nice ride man.. I was sure I had seen those plates on a Gun metal grey 32 before. Sorry I didn't get a chance to come and say hi.

My girlfriend was stoked when you turned up with the baby seats in the back and the missus driving, I've been telling her for ages they are great family cars and you just proved it last night!!!! ha ha ha

Will introduce myself next time I see ya.

Brett

G'day Brett. Nice to meet you. Glad to help out the missus see the light. The grey/blue one you saw the plates on was my old 'R I sold last year. Was costing me too much. This one was bought as a replacement to a Camry Wagon, which although a good car, we (or I) wanted to get back into an 'R. The wife is very happy with it too. I must say though that a 4-door is definitely a requirement for kiddies until they're walking and able to climb up into their own chairs. This is mainly due to the child seat needing to be put in upright and not in the lay down position for infants. We did try that once or twice in the old 'R, but the front passenger was a long way forward.

You can check out my previous 'R on my web site (see sig).

Cheers

Yep, that'd be me. That was a top car which now resides in your home town of Melbourne. Pretty much showroom condition with the right amount of mods. Unfortunately is was just costing way too much (being a rare and top quality V-spec). This one now will be modded a fair amount over the next few years (along side my Silvia). Having the Nismo turbos already in makes it just bolt-on parts now to get the best out of 'em.

Cheers

Brendan

Well they're coming down in price and most just need a good tidy up to get into top condition. This red one has a few small dents and a little paint work required (door mirrors are quite bad), but it's cheap to have small dents removed and basic painting done and worth it when the car looks the goods. I did have some problems with one of the AFM's, but that's fixed now. Of course a future mod will be to go to Z32 AFM's to help the turbos breath well, but that won't be until the PFC and BC are in.

    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
