Microtech is the way to go in my eyes its Australian based and always improving. I dont think that there is anything wrong with PowerFC's its just the tossers that think that big names are all the go! if it has no big name then it must be shit! well if you guys think big names are all the go then why dont you go put a big dickhead sticker on your car! that would suit you guys to a T. Maybe if you went out a used both of them and then made a choice and not just read some stupid car mag we might have some good forum reading with some good opinions.

kirby, go back to your toyota forum with 3 members and leave this one alone, this thread has been very constructive so far in helping me make a decision and your just trying to start a thread war.

go and read a bit more on this forum (R33 Rb30 conversion for starters), the power fc has been tried and proven by the majority of the users here, there are numerous amounts of people making 300+rwkw's with the power fc so you can't say people are just talking from reading a magazine!

I think the main difference is the air flow meter is replaced with a pressure sensor and IMO is a more reliable reading/sensor.

Although the 0 pressure position is a real map nightmare a good tuner will sort it properly. (and this why I'v been stressing this point)

    • 21 is explicitly the coils detected as the issue. Is it guaranteed the actual issue? No. Just the ECU thinks it is. When you say rattling, describe it better, get an audio clip as best you can if possible.
    • Yea got me coppers. Bad news is I just put them in and the car still has the light and shakes. I also noticed I hear like rattling coming from the exhaust piping right under me. Does 21 also have a possibility of being O2 sensors?   So, coil packs are good, the harness is good, the MAF is working, and obviously the spark plugs just replaced and working.
    • Make sure you drop the GTT base tune back in, and set your injectors again, this will remove anything playing up with it you may have removed. Possibly lean there as it's normally a fast transient going THROUGH atmospheric pressure, and a turbo motor would then quickly go richer as boost builds. The only worry you MIGHT have is ignition timing, as the DE is higher compression than the DET from memory. But again, you're not in boost, so the DE motor will be a lot more forgiving at atmospheric.   Get Murray, Kinkstahs, and Johnny's input on tuning haltechs, those guys have played with tuning enough in the past to be able to help now you're past the trouble shooting stage of the MAP issue
    • @Rusty NutshI mate. Do you have a pinout diagram for the na neo auto ecu?
    • Yeah thats the plan now. 🤞
