if i get bride/recaro recliners do they also go forward, this is imperitive in a 2 door. Otherwise i will get secopnd hand GTR seats.

do you have alot of cash :P as a racing seat is going to cost you abit ;) 1k maybe more depends where u buy from and if u get rails or not

realistically its the rails that make the seats go forward or not... if you get bride or recaro rails suited for your car then it will go forward or otherwise you can get a custom ones made from your original rails... either way it should go forward and back...

they are expensive, but they are damn nice seats. Hug really well. If you were still looking at getting bride seats knowing the price (luckily mine came with 2 brix) I would go for the Brix II :P

A cheap option is OBX. They come in pairs and are half the price of a single Bride. The OBX Monaco Sports is very hugging.

im a bit of a stuck up prick and only like buying the best brands, its kinda my downfall lol

lol... well they are very good seats (the bride brix that is). If you have the money to spend...get them ;)

Nengun have the Bride Brix II Entry for just over $1100 delivered and the Bride Brix II for just over $1200 delivered. :D

That is per seat...the rails are extra. About $300 delivered per rail

per seat, are you sure, ive seen like that for 2

are you sure? if you are let me know where coz I will replace my Brix I's for Brix II's :O

Everywhere I have seen it's per seat. You will find the same for Sparco and the other top brands...per seat. For 2 front seats and a pair of seat rails you would be looking at close to $3K

www.modyourcar.com.au also have Bride Brix II for over $1K. They mention when they are sold as a pair as per OBX...doesn't mention pair for Bride.

You can buy decent brix second hand for $800 each or less. Have seen them for as little as $300 if they badly need a retrim. Rails from around $150 each.

Look around, you may even get luck if you find some in a wrecking yard and they dont know what they are worth (mate picked one up for 4250 with rail in perfect condition - no they dont have any more :P)

Another option, C-Red are selling some very sexy looking East Bear seats brand new at good prices http://www.silviawa.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14408

Hey Steve, do you know of any good trimmers in Perth? Mine need retrimming as they are faded, and the bolstering is starting to get a little soft. Do you know if they can retrim it like the original with bride written down the seat?

Ta JB

Sorry JB,

I believe the material is almost impossible to get hold of, I have only ever seen it sold to suit door trims and glove boxes, never large enough peices to do seats. Even the side/back material is not sold sepeartely AFAIK.

And I dont know of any places to get retrims done in perth sorry, but I am sure there are others on here that will.

Thanks anyway steve...might mean I will have to replace them. Had a patch done when I first bought the car and was very disappointed in the result. The material didn't match properly and neither did the colour...might be able to sell them I guess, or I could get it retrimmed in a standard black material and get Bride embroided on the top. Had a look at those East Bear seats on the link you posted. They look pretty good.

    • Dear folks My family members have 4 different cars : Triton 2015 and Corolla 2011 and Mazda3 2012 and Hyundai Elantra 2014 Looking to buy engine oil funnel spill free What I found are are below  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BBTTJNKX?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/145553221359?srsltid=AfmBOoqYBU6Ptw0LU_bAp_k67U3qkF97HHvePkA7iHZw8vUmiwoIRaRr https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09X23TCS5?th=1 Is there a funnel with attachment that fits most cars ? • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
