Ryan, I'm gonna whip together some idea's this weekend when I have some time just to show off

One idea is that we could have different colours used within the cards dependant on the members ride colour or differing transparancies of car models dependant on the model of ride the member owns. Just an idea course .... It willa ll make sence once I put some drafts together.

maybe not sponsors, but enough ppl will support the club in group buys/group discounts for members of SAU

just get a referral network going, and shops etc will offer 5% upwards discount guareteed on anything

i actually like the idea of membership 'rewards' as such, via sponsership however... if sponsership includes pop up windows, i will not stay in this.. coz we all know how annoying pop ups are

I think sponsership will be non-intrusive. eg. Banner Ads, Adverts in the Newsletter, Decals on slected members vehicles ? I don't believe it will be something that's forced apon the members.

On the membership card, if we are CAMS affiliated, the format will be set by Cams. Wouldn't it just be easier to barcode the cars though?

As far as sponsorship goes, I'm happy to have ads around the place if it gets me parts and track time cheaper!

Fair enuff, I assumed since I've been a member of 2 cams affiliated clubs and both had the same CAMS membership cards

it'd be too dificult to get sponsors to recognise us if we just had the cams card.. so we will have a seperate membership card too.
