I thought the solenoid was blocked off like that if you wanted a cheapo way to make boost.

What boost are you making? What mods are you running?

Does any1 know what order the hoses go in from the solenoid to actuator and pressure source.

Ive got an r33 gtst stock solenoid that im going to be using for my Jaycar IEBC. In the instructions, it says that most boost solenoids only work ONE WAY around.

I powered up the solenoid with 12V so i could hear it clicking, and with a large syringe applied pressure to the hose going to the top inlet. When i applied the 12V, it opened, releasing the pressure from the syringe.

So, Im almost 100% sure the top inlet goes to the pressure source and the bottom one (the one in the middle) goes to the actuator.

Hope that helps.

try downloading the R33 service manual from my server.. details below

it will have it in there..

i'm pretty sure you won't get full boost if you block the solenoid.. way it works is the solenoid opens letting less air get to the wastegate actuator and hence it doesn't open as early.
