Hi Girls and Guys,

Round 2 of the Drift Australia Nationals will be held at Oran Park South Circuit on Saturday the 1st of October.

This is a day/night event, come and see 1000hp V8's do battle with Japan's hottest imports. Hot 4's Car display, Team Drifting, Motocycle Stunts, The Edge 96.1 Miss DRIFT AUSTRALIA amature modeling comp and much more.

I went to Adelaide with SAU member Chris Eastern and Initial Drift Member Fernando Wiehrl and it was really a top weekend. This time it is all jam packed into one HUGE day.

So if your not busy, come down and witness the best drifing the country has to offer, and of course support Chris and I as we try and knock the rest of Australia off their podium and take the silverware away from Fernando!

I been looking at coming over for the weekend (from Tassie) to check the action.

Can anyone recomend a cheap place to lay my head for a couple of nights as i have tried a few and due to the event it seems most places are full already???

Can anyone help a Tassie SAU memeber out at all???

Shit, Just spoke to the missus and she reminded me that we have relo's comming... I'm really sorry mate.

But if you need I can try and find some cheap accom in my area and I can take you down and back on the Saturday.

Yeah sorry i hadn't called yet, but i had trouble's with my phone.

Apparently they dont like to go swimming in ya pot of beer <_<

BUGGER about the accomodation then, looks like i may have to give this one a miss unless someone else can help me out :D

Maybe next year if i can get time off

15mins from my place. Will make an effort to come.

F1 motel isn't too far from OP. The Campbelltown or Casula F1's are pretty easy to drive to and from OP.

As i wont have a car mate it makes it a little hard to get around.

But cheers for the names of the places, i'll have to make a few calls.

I rang around a few places and they were pretty full at the time due to the event being on :D

If you do know of anyone else that woudln't mind an extra head for a couple of nights it would be good.

or...there's a caravan park just down the road at Camden..

YEAH im getting giddy like a little school girl and im only watching :lol:

Couldn't really find any accomodation Majanal so i might have to give it a miss unless i can hire a van and i'll crash in that.

Will give ya call though when i know :D

      The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.

Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?

      By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol

      No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
