Hi all

have just installed some Kei Office coilovers to my R33 and i am not sure

about setup

i have never owned a car with coillies

so not sure how it should feel

some help would be much appreciated

hey,

Do you have any info of the Kei Office coilovers like the spring rate etc etc?

Basicly with coiloverse your skyline should handle awsome, it will take away most of your bodyroll and the ride should be bumpy

That sounds exactly like what i have

not sure of spring rate

trying to get hold of the dude i bought them off

was not sure if the bumpiness was a rebound setting issue

and what the little bit in the top of shockie stem is for

looks like a screwdriver can fit in there to turn it

thanks man

hey by the looks of the photo you are missing the adjustment bit, basicly there should be something which screw into it, then u can adjusted the coilovers damper rate from hard to soft

most coilovers are bumpy, so dont worry about it you will get uses to it :)

kei office specialise in drift sus (Keichi Tsuchiya aka drift king).

Excellent coilovers, hard spring rates. The adjustment is as you thought, with a small screwdriver, they use a KYB insert that has 4 levels of dampening. Adjust too soft, they get bouncy, adjust too hard, and the wheels may loose contact patch.

For the street, I suggest you run a 3 in the front, and 2 rear. If you find you are understeering, try backing off the dampening, oversteering (and you dont want to) back off the dampening rear.

Somewhere to start anyways.
