Urm, anyone got ideas?

THAT HOOK HOLD UP YOUR SHELF WHEN YOU GO TO GET YOUR SPARE TYER OUT .. IT HOOK ON TO THE TOP OF ROOF JUST UNDER THE TAIL GAITE ...ddDDDDUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHH

The spare wheel cover on mine has a plastic cover under it with Stagea emblems on it. It covers the foam on the inside of the spare wheel cover. I can't see the same on yours.

hey mate i found out by reading the stagea manual in japanese, and only looking at the little pics, the emblem sheet is made to pull out and hang over the rear bumper and protect the area while u put skies or shoes on if u get my drift :)

mines also got it and when folded out it shows the stagea emblem :P

cheers

Brad

i reckon staj's rock :)

headlights with light sensors that turn on when dark

rear wagon door pull in motor thing

electric mirrors that pull in when u press a button (commo doesnt have that ;) )

the rear seat fold down handles at the rear of the car to drop the seats

twin sunroofs

twin airbags

heaps of room

and heaps of other stuff :P

gotta love the pimp look of the dark windows too :D

Mines not reflective. I thought it was for when you are pulled over on the side of the road as well, until I found it wasn't reflective.

The japanese think of lots of little features like that. My previous car ('92 300ZX) had electrically heated wing mirrors, they de-misted the mirrors when the rear window de-mister was on.

Never thought I'd miss that, but I do. It's very useful when you have to reverse down your drive on cold, misty mornings.

Are heated wing mirrors an option on the Stagea?

some models of stagea came with the feature that the bottom of the front windscreen heated up so you didn't rip your wiper blades off if they had frozen to the windscreen. mine instead came with a luggage fan (wtf?)

Indeed, what the HELL is a luggage fan?

All i got with my car was sticky stuff on my dash (from where stuff was), worn carpet in the rear and velcro on the carpet (under passenger) and a sticker of a 120,000km service...

I got jibbed ey? This kinda stuff you cant really know anyway, and i even bought my car from Australia. Oh well, still in good nick. Good 95% of the stuff is getting replaced anyway hehe

    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
