it was only a couple of years ago this magpie um went to the dogs - pardon the expression - yeah i was upset but old enough for it not to effect me a huge amount. I was teaching him to fly to me too!! but he crapped on everything :( cute bird - bad habits! I have two weiros a boy n girl too young to breed just yet but its funny they chatter really loud in their cage - sounds liek they are having a domestic in there!!

yeah I love birds.. I mean the AVES kind not human :(

I used to work at Perth Zoo Birds section, especially wetlands and Penguine exhibit. I would love to go back to it.

there is no other feeling when wedge tail eagle flys off and lands on your shoulder ;) they are damm heavy birds too.

or hand feeding fairy penguine chicks ;) god I wanna go back! :)

sounds like fun joe ;) i just have to handle my zoo at home! Damn i want my bunny rabbit back :( but my cat will torment it so i cant have no rabbits anymore. Im a pretty good animal trainer - been training them since i was 7 - really! my animals always are too smart for their own good - my rabbit was fully toilet trained - only go on the news paper and stay on the mat when we let it out - when you used to put it on its back in your arms it would instantly fall asleep and start grinding its teeth and it wouldnt move - when i was about to put it down at the vets it was like that and everyoen was crowding around it and ooooing and aaahing cos it looked so cute cuddled up asleep - made the job a lot harder but it was really sick and i had no choice!

Ohh , I don't know.

Maybe war of words , keyboards at 10 paces , verbal slanging at 5 paces.

You two both need to take a chill pill atm.;)

Reading back thru the last 2 days , a few people have to be aware that the net does not convey the emotion they are trying to put across sometimes.

Things get taken the wrong way and rapidly escalate.

Oh goodo my nets working again.

I used to have a pet maggie. It fell out of a really high tree. A little fat baby one. I fed it and stuff.. got some advice from the vet but i think it was injured from the fall so it didnt make it. I had all sorts of pets, just about everything you can think of. Dogs, dongo, cats, horse, lizards, birds, fish, spiders (untill they layed eggs and hatched and my bedroom was covered with them) and tadpoles. I think thats it.

    • I hadn't thought about the variable power steering assist. Presumably, it will always be the same level of assist as you get in an S14. The R32/3/4 are either helliishly heavy (at low speeds) if the solenoid is not powered at all, or hellishly too light (at high speed) if it is powered all the time. I presume that it is PWM controlled on those cars. I hadn't thought about the S cars not having variable assist. ugh. What crappy plebby cars they must be!
    • Hmm yeah that is a good point. It looks like it'll just bolt in with no real issue besides maybe the bushings being different. My other concern was that 2 pin plug that I assume is used in some way to control the rack solenoid depending on the speed signal from the ecu. The DMAX rack doesn't even have that plug though so, don't think it'll matter. Might just order the rack and see how it goes. Will update this when I figure something out
    • I'd say it's a fair bet that the feed and return fluid lines will be in different enough spots that you would need to come up with a way to cut the originals short and adapt with new hard line adaption or braided teflon hoses or somesuch. But really, you have the car, you have the photos of the DMAX rack - you should be able to go out there and see for yourself whether they're in the same or different spots.
    • I've been doing some looking around and honestly was just considering throwing a new rack at it. I saw that the dmax silvia rack bolts up into the 33 with the silvia bushings but not sure if the high pressure lines will sit in the correct spot. I believe other version of the 33 rack are the same/similar to the racks that can be opened up without as much fuss so I assume the dmax rack would fit but any ideas?
    • I've never played with one, but I would expect that you are correct. That slot looks like it is intended to be used to unscrew the end, and the flats on the body would be better than grabbing it around the round bit with a pipe wrench. So, yeah, probably unscrews. You'll probably have to make a tool to drive in that slot.
