Couldnt have said it better myself.

Some ppl wont even meet and greet at cruises and thats not really the crew we want. The early cruises were good cause we would get around 12 cars and they were all regulars. Ken adam32 adamq skyzerr joe gradenko radium myself etc etc

Plus u can trust ppl not to ram u in teh ass which is more then i can say for big cruises where i dont know any1.

yes - cos cops have a lotof experience in organising car cruises :D

sheesh - such a dumb idea - wasting breath just discussing it!

thanks for the insightful, helpful and positive feedback niz.. very inspiring..

boost & paul - the only reason i'm for the idea is that on bike cruises general info from the cops was very very helpful.. it also helped that we had a few cops in the group as they could tell us in advance where the problem areas were and what to stay away from...

was just suggesting that sort of insight would be useful applied to car cruises..

i'm all for the smaller cruises over the big ones for the reasons boost listed.. rather have a super happy fun small group than a big tailgating angry group.. :D

Yeah, but the SAU cruises, without other clubs are still quite tight-knit:D

Cam, I agree, if we can try and avoid going through the areas like Freo strip etc, then the cops wouldn't stress so much. We don't want to cause trouble.

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
