Well Steve's brief description of it to me was that I have a very lean patch right in the middle but once you push through that in the high rpm the afr maps almost perfectly....

But if it was just chipped in japan would adding the intercooler and boost control cause the mapping to be inaccurate???

I am going to find out these mysteries soon though as I need a service.... In high RPM running high boost I am starting to notice that the power is retarding.... its hard to explain but it sometimes cough's and splutters a bit but only under high rpm with high boost....

I plan to get the general service done, that problem looked into, try to unlock the mysteries of my car and get the rust cut out of the wheel arch in the near future :D

Don't forget Paul.... I too have a stock turbo ( as far as I am aware ;) ) and I got 285rwhp... I am not too far away from you :D

I'll buy you and Paul a pretty pink dress each then.

    • thanks, will conduct myself accordingly. i unfortunately put about 150 miles on the car before reading this thread again, however no PS issues, and definitely no turbo issues. it spools normally and still feels fast to me, probably because my previous car was an N/A auto sedan...gonna go fix the PS vacuum line though lol. safe to say, got what i came to this thread for. thanks
    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
