haha how was those Silvia dudes on the way back haha i pulled up beside them at the lights .... and i go "Learn to drive guys" :D and then took off haha they spen tthe rest of the time trying to catch up to me then beeped me as they turned off. Sorry about squeezing in between you n that 4wd drive .... i came pretty close to your rear end - but i didnt have to slam on the brakes or anything it was all fairly under control ..... it scared the shit outta Mel tho :D

yeah cos on mitchell freeway had to turn off to Leach hwy and they were being dicks and slowed right down ..... so i was right up their are swerving back n forth across the road then though phuck this shot past them and back in front of them .... and thats when we got to the lights to turn onto leach i told them to learn how to phucking drive haha their mouths just fell open and didnt know what to say then they went "hey" and lights changed and i booted it.

oh after you guys turned off i pulled up on leach and guy beside me in 4wd pulls up and shouts out the window to me "So did ya win?"

Cant understand why you didnt pull a "Peelie" for the RAC guy Liz mightve given you a free lube as well as your jumpstart :D

Yeah you n I pulled a few Ch33ky stunts today but its all good 'no cars were harmed in the making of this cruise' :D Knew Mitchell freeway was going to be fun.

haha nah we went to the Rivervale ..... our bottle of wine arrived before the food and i hadnt had any breakfast etc so it went straight to my head it was pretty funny ..... food there is yummy tho :D wouldve invited you but i thought you may of wanted to get your car home!

the difference between us pulling "cheeky's" and cheeky driving like a *****tard - is that we really do have skylines..

Plus by the time you cut someone off and step on it your far far away before they have a chance to go up ya arse :D my theory anyway ..... it was a pretty risky move me shoving myself between that 4wd and you but i didnt realise the lights had turned red ..... and i started apolgising to this guy in the 4wd that asked me if i won thinking ti was him i cut off ...... but he just looked at me weird.

Hey Ken ..... yes had fun :D we always find some unsuspecting piece of shit to play cat n mouse with :D

    • Impossible to remove the housing while turbo is installed on the manifold on the engine. So I have to do it anyways. I plugged it so there will not be any debris in there. Will vacuum aswell
    • would a r34 gtr hood line up with gt/gtt stock fenders? after latch, front bumper and hinges are swapped for gtr ones? or would the fenders be too low or high in relation to the hood surface? ( I believe seeing somewhere that gtr front fenders use some type of riser for the sides, but do not know how that relates to stock gt/gtt fenders.)
    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
