when i bent my exhaust?

backed into a parking spot, went to drive forward to straighten up, car wouldnt go anywhere, got out n had a look, the back of the cars bumbper and exhaust had gone into the garden a bit, so the exhaust was catching on the kerb when I went to drive forward. I tried driving off on an angle, but it still wouldnt move, so i tried a "little harder" and it moved off, but bent the exhaust pipe upwards, the tip now melts the back bumper, and the exhuast sounds different.

Am getting it fixed monday

i have a really funny story to tell!!

My parents have this big block with an old house on it .... the old house they rent out and they've divided the block in two halfs ... one half has the old house and garden etc and then theres a fence and the back half they've left as bush for now (going to develop it one day)

Anyway somehow ... think by cigerette thrown over fence ... the bush block caught on fire! .... so the old guy renting the place rang the firebrigade and rang my mum.

My mum arrived and one of the FF's jumped over into the bushland block and started putting the fire out ..... it was a fairly small scrub fire so didnt take long and he goes "OMG ....*insert other Fireys name here ... for sake of story call him Bob come and look at this" So bob jumps the fence and bursts out laughing and he goes to my mum "Love how open minded are you - do you get offended easily?" My mums like "Nah nothing phases me" So out of the bush this firey pulls out this huge strap on dildo! ... apparently theres been some people squatting there - there was a matteress and some clothes and this huge dildo haha ...... mum then went down to the police station to report it and she goes to the police lady "oh there were some personal effects left there" and the lady goes "Like what? a wallet" and mum goes "Um nooo more like a strap on vibrator" haha

i would love to go to Spain - actually considering studying spanish for a while .... after all its the second most spoken language :D

oh and the firefighters took the dildo with them when they left - um disgusting!

    • Yes the gear for the R33/34 is different, it is red and has a different number of teeth. My part didn't come with that gear though, so I don't know how many teeth are on the red one. You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
