I want to hear how much difference in noise the wastegate makes... If its not overly loud I can always change my pipes, dont think it'd be too hard :) But I'm more going for the sleeper kind of look I think... quiet and un-suspecting :) Hmmm, might call my accountant early next week and see if my tax papers are ready to sign and send off ;)

Yeah my stock ecu is amazing :) ah well wolf3d soon now I dont have to worry about injectors... might even be next week, hehe... nah, I think I'll wait a bit and let my money pile grow again. Interest on the home loan has gone up a bit since I used some of the money offseting the interest.

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
