I hate how geoff risbey takes absolutely no responsibility.

but he's charging for the service of selecting a good car.

that line he uses about "additional inforation can be made available for interested buyers, but please be specific about what you would like to know" is horse shit. You pay him, he's supposed to tell you what you need to know to make an informed purchase.

stupid snapperhead!

my front bar has seen better days..... unfortunately after repetetive hits its starting to develop small fractures, so I need those fixed plus where I had the nismo badge ( which was recently lost ) that will need to be smoothed out , the rear needs to also be smoothed out where a hacksaw was used for the install of the FMIC and I would like a respray to get rid of all those nasty little white chips I have collected..

im pretty lucky cos i dont have that many white chips :) the stones seem to hit the grill bit (where intercooler one day is too sit) .... and the bottom of the grill has become unstuck and needs to be reglued down.

i need to get the packaging tape sticky off where i went a bit over excited with it on the rear - looks like im going to have to replace that GTS25T badge on the back too :)

hehe dont even get me started on on my bent fins from stone chips!!!! :)

yeah its frustrating isnt it, having to spend quite a few dollars on the car and not really getting anything for it.... if you know what I mean... like after I get my car serviced and the bumper fixed , its going to look and drive like it did before but I am out of pocket alot.... just think of what that money could have done if spent on other mods :)

i know :) i know :) .... bloody 3K on tyres and suspension since i got it ...... another 1K on servicing :) ...... 4K that wouldve been FMIC and Zorst money with probably enough left over for an EBC ..... make me angry!

oh well not much of a choice haha ..... ive basically done all i can mechanically so i think it decided to chuck its wing off just to fustrate me :) .... my car is evil tell ya .... i think its a girl cos it can be a total bitch sometimes

Sorry Dan I have no idea on the cost for that???

Niz.... I hadent heard.... does that mean you have no brakes at all or are they just performing very badly????

Mine could probably get away with a good machine but I think I would rather have a good set of slotted DBA's.... brakes are something I want to have the best in....

it snapped completely thru but sat on the caliper in such a way the fluid didnt leak much and still go through ........ apparently im a vERY lucky girl. specially the way i tend to drive!!

haha try 170km lately been really nauti!! gotta straighten up or im going lose my license!!

yeah Alex i know - but i kinda someone that likes to have enough money cos for some reason things start to get complicated with my car .... e.g brake pades .... then next thing i know i need the lines replaced as well ....

    • Then, shorten them by 1cm, drop the car back down and have a visual look (or even better, use a spirit level across the wheel to see if you have less camber than before. You still want something like 1.5 for road use. Alternatively, if you have adjustable rear ride height (I assume you do if you have extreme camber wear), raise the suspension back to standard height until you can get it all aligned properly. Finally, keep in mind that wear on the inside of the tyre can be for incorrect toe, not just camber
    • I know I have to get a wheel alignment but until then I just need to bring the rear tyres in a bit they're wearing to the belt on the inside and brand new on the outside edge. I did shorten the arms a bit but got it wrong now after a few klms the Slip and VDC lights come on. I'd just like to get it to a point where I can drive for another week or two before getting an alignment. I've had to pay a lot of other stuff recently so doing it myself is my only option
    • You just need a wheel alignment after, so just set them to the same as current and drive to the shop. As there are 2 upper links it may also be worth adding adjustable upper front links at the same time; these reduce bump steer when you move the camber (note that setting those correctly takes a lot longer as you have to recheck the camber at each length of the toe arm, through a range of movement, so you could just ignore that unless the handling becomes unpredictable)
    • I got adjustable after market rear camber arm to replace the stock one's because got sick of having to buy new rear tyres every few months. Can anyone please let me know what the best adjustment length would be. I don't have the old ones anymore to get measurements. I'm guessing the stock measurement minus a few mm would do it. Please any help on replacing them would be fantastic I've watched the YouTube clips but no-one talks about how long to set the camber arm to.
    • Heh. I copied the link to the video direct, instead of the thread I mentioned. But the video is the main value content anyway. Otherwise, yes, in Europe, surely you'd be expected to buy local. Being whichever flavour of Michelin, Continental or Pirelli suits your usage model.
