hey L.

you should approach it from 2 angles

1. remove stink - stick a big box of saw dust in there. this will soak up the bad vapour.

2. Mask risidual stink - visit rice shop and purchase jap spec air spencer!

hasnt paul taken advantage of you yet aidwin?! Geez paul need to lift your game your slipping :D

Nah perfume is too expensive to waste. Just get frebreeze - whats with sawdust - it aint kitty litter!!

that is also my second choice... black would be hella nice but.... yeh three girl with black lines hahaha but I mean at the end of the day I will buy it for the quality not the colour. unless its wine red hahaha

3 out of the 4 auto salon skylines were wine red... it is quite a unique coolour at the moment.... kind of liike the bright yellow yet that is going a tad out of fashion now that lancers and hyundai accents comein canary yellow! i love the wine red colour.... any further than 10 metres away from the car and you would think it has just been polished... not just my car but every other wine red car.... by far it is the best one that looks like it is always clean... just don't come within 10 metres of the car and you should be alright!!!! thats when you really see the dirt!! the fastest gtst in australia is wine red..... red goes faster... don't forge that:D :uh-huh:

and as the colour debate re-starts haha.

Hmmm its a sad day when u are so bored u resort to paying parking infringements early - i usually wait til they have expired by at least two weeks

Lauren,

sawdust is porous and absorbs water (dampness), plus it has extremely high surface area.

Trust me. my mum is a vet. I'll let you draw your own conclusions from that.

Colour is one of those personal preference things, but when I got my new car, in the "colour" column, I put: ANYTHING BUT SHITTY WINE RED!

plus, wine red is not truly red, and therefore cannot claim extra speed points.

    • Thanks for the linkie. Certainly always a great deal of help when people post comparisons like these, but I think for now I'll stay away from any semi slicks. I did go ahead and order the sportcontact 7. My buddy has them on his modified A4 and he keeps saying how good they are. For my intended purposes these will probably work real well. I'll report on them once I had the chance to try them out
    • Talk about noisy. Even when I still had the Tomei under the car I could distinctly hear the tires rolling. And I doubt I ever will need maximum grip like on a track. My GTR will maybe never even see the 600hp mark and I need to get used to the car quite a bit before challenging the limits of its handling. For the next winter storage I think I will get a set of these rubber drive-on thingies that have a tire shaped base. Those supposedly really help prevent flat spots.
    • Well our climate is definitely way less hot overall and the weather can be quite picky at times. I just know that during normal road use or even spirited drives there is no way I'd be able to consistently stay in the operating temperature, and constantly changing the tire pressure would also be a royal pain.
    • Input shaft bearing. They all do it. There is always rollover noise in Nissan boxes - particularly the big box. Don't worry about it unless it gets really growly.
