Hks Evc3 Solenoid

Hey all,

Im about to get the Boost controller, but it doesnt have the solenoid. Just need to know where I can get 1, and how much do they retail for.

Do I have to get specific solenoid for the Hks evc3 or just any solenoid?

ANy help greatly appreciated

the evc3 is pretty old, u should buy it with the solenoid. should be around $250 2nd hand as its old as the hills. dont buy it without the solenoid, useless if you do.

and the solenoid will be specific to the evc3 as the ports changed in the evc 2 and 4

sounds like it, who'd buy (or sell for that matter) an evc3 without the solenoid? its kinda useless without it. very dodgy indeed. i suppose the wires have been "cut" somewhere to or have signs of being ripped out

Tell me about it. My EVC 3 head unit magically disapeared...and I brought it in on a container. I tell ya, even the customs dudes are dodgy!!! However, all things being equal, I guess Im lucky to have 'lost' just the head unit <_<

So now Im looking for an EVC 3 Head Unit...any one know where there is one
