ohh ok, was under the impression you got it back from him, hence the pics.

anyway, now that you have it apart is there any burnt/black carbon tracks on the board, sometimes you get lucky and even if the circuit isn't protected the tracks just get hot, lift from the pcb and burn into two pieces, that can be easily joined again with small guage wire?

nah i looked and cant see any burnt stuff, it all smells the same, i checked undernearth and its still perfect, looks brand new still. so not sure whats dead. maybe nothing is dead and ive fried something on the car instead and the powerfc just has a fit cos something on the car is angry. hard to tell. id say ive cooked something though cos it smells burnt

post mortem diag, found a burnt track on the powerfc board and stock ecu still doesnt start the car. did stock ecu diag with consult no errors found. just cant for the life of me think why it doesnt crank over

powerfc has been repaired. resoldered burnt track. car runs fine, system appers ok and tune still present. go the ol mighty rb and powerfc :blink:

pelase do not attempt the manual air temp sensor hookup
