Can someone please explain (from a suitability point of view), the difference between using an 80mm diametre actuator and a 100mm diametre actuator?

The turbo in question is a HKS GT2835 Pro S (A/R 0.87) - internal wastegate.

I'm aiming to produce approx 275rwkw (@ 18-20psi) with supporting mods and possibly a set of Tomei Poncams on a RB25DET.

Nengun supply the turbo with either the 80mm or 100mm diametre actuator ( SEE HERE ), so I'd like to understand the difference between using either size actuator and also which one would be more suitable for my potential application.

Sorry for the dumbarse question - i've done a search and found plenty of info on wastegates etc, but nothing specifically to answer my question.

I'd send the question to Nengun because i think it may actually be the size of the bellmouth on the turbo 3inch vs 4inch rather than the size of the actuator because typically the hks actuators are closer to 50mm diameter.

The size of the actuator would have little effect, particularly if it's an adjustable type like a HKS one.
