gun_200
Hi All, I have a set of R33 GTR rotors waiting to go into my S15 with callipers to match but im a little hesitant as im not sure if there is a difference in Left and Right rotors. I cant seem to find a visible difference, i.e the casting looks identical, it doesn’t seem to show a directional bias in the cooling veins, from this I have assumed that there is no difference between L & R. Could someone confirm if this is the case??? Cheers Marco Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90696-standard-gtr-rotors/ Share on other sites

Ronin 09
Std GTR32 rotors are curved vane, so are left and right. I can only then assume that std GTR33 rotors would also be curved vane, and should be mounted left and right specific. I'm only guessing, so I would check with someone who knows for sure... I'm sure someone on here will know don't know if that helps you at all. gun_200
hmmm. I’ll get a photo and post it. I might have 2 of the same side haha, though there is no curvature in the veins on mine... Beer Baron
if they are not curved vane then don't worry about it. It will be obvious by looking at them if they are staight vane, or curved vane. maccattack
If they are stock rotors there is no difference between left and right. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90696-standard-gtr-rotors/#findComment-1635915 Share on other sites

Beer Baron
they actually look like DBA kangaroo paw rotors to me. in which case they usually have an L or R sticker and part number suffix. gun_200
DAM... i thought i had it sorted.. the part numbers are the same though might not be DBA's as on the internal they don’t have varied casting like the PAW ones.. hmmm.. I take the general consensus to be if the rotor is non-bias and symmetrical it will not effect one side or the other.... they actually look like DBA kangaroo paw rotors to me. in which case they usually have an L or R sticker and part number suffix. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90696-standard-gtr-rotors/#findComment-1637183 Share on other sites
