damono
Hey guys.. Ive got a S1 R33, and am in the process of getting a chipped ECU. The ECU is off a series 1.5 R33, but apparently has a series 2 engine it in. Is this going to work? Has any1 tried it? Cheers damo Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/91005-difference-between-series-1-and-series-2-ecu/ Share on other sites
rob82
Dont know where your getting the chip from but its more involved than just replacing the EEPROM as the memory is on board. You have to remove the Micro read it edit it socket the board and replace it with another micro as they are write once only. But to answer your question no it will not matter which series. damono
Its a pre-chipped ECU from RS Yamamoto. I wont have to alter it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/91005-difference-between-series-1-and-series-2-ecu/#findComment-1639838 Share on other sites
