Now i would like all the credit to go to the various people who i found this information off

i believe the 12th position is Interior Trim (I believe) but dont know the codes (my GTR has a Black interior and the code Z so maybe Z = Black Interior Trim but just a guess)

Its only the final couple of characters that elude me

and again if anyone knows the colour code to Millennium Jade, the R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur, hero colour. i would like to know it (now Know it Thanks Dezz)

and if anyone finds that i have something wrong please tell me so i can correct it

I think that is everything so if anyone has some more info DO TELL

Thanks

millenium jade color is in bold in my above post

1 of the last digits in the model number (cant remember off the top of my head, might be very last) tells you if its LSD, ABS or both...A B C respectively i believe...

however, ive seen some VIN's come up in fast with an extra letter in the model number, so i dont know whats going on there...

hmmm....last 4 characters on my model code is "LMZG" so none are either A, B or C so..... hmmm

and i know L = Projector Headlights

and M = climate comtrol + upgraded stereo

so dont know what Z and G are

THINK... Z = Black Interior Trim

hmmm.... :)

hehe, this is a project that got started waaay back in 2002, and then we thought we'd do it properly in 2004, and then died off again. Feel free to pick up the ball and run with it. Some credit to the guys who did the original translations wouldn't hurt either :)

refer to the old thread:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=44011

Yeah...

Thats the Topic where i got most of my info from

and 90% of it seems to be from your posts funky (thanks by the way)

but its the last few chars that still elude my grasp

and as for the errors... may i ask where cause i think most of it is copied and pasted so...

Thanks and Help

RellikZephyr

i'm pretty sure I made a couple of errors in my original posts which you sorta inherited when you copied it :) I remember i cbf fixing it at the time then never got around to looking at it again.

Yeah I got mine working and displaying in japanese, so its a little easier to read. I'll translate it one of these days... :)

Firstly a big thanks to Funkymonkey

RellikZephyr you deserve a pat on the back too, I to toyed with notion of doing this from funkys info and never got around to it.

At last its all together !!

Dont worry answered my own question, no they are different as seen here:

    • Yes, well, keep in mind that the air is intake air, which equal boost + possible oil. If there is a fine deposition of oil/scunge that then gets hot and carbonises, it could look just like that. Probably shouldn't be leaking. Might just be normal for that product. Hard to know if it is relevant.
    • Wrapped up putting the motor back in today. I have a stainless flex turbo drain pipe like you see on cummins and that funny enough PRP started selling. I generally prefer these but sadly they come with a finite amount of times they can be bent before they snap. Took well over a week for a replacement to arrive.  I was able to prime the pump but I will more then likely wait until next friday to take it on its madden voyage. I also installed the nozzles for my direct port WMI setup but plugged the nozzle holders for now. I'll tube it with Swagelok SS tubing and fittings next chance I get. No rush, i'll be breaking it for a week or two anyways.
    • I could definitely do some logs without the VCT enabled for sure. I believe we tried it on the dyno and it still spiked but wouldn't hurt to try again and have the logs    I might be able to use some metal cable ties and hold the gate open entirely, I'd need to see about that one.   What do we think about these marks on the cap of the actuator? This is where the two parts push together where the diaphragm spring is. To me they look like air has been sleeping past?? Specifically talking about those black stains above the lower rim/lip. They can be rubbed away as if it's just an exhaust stain.
    • And if it still spikes, just for now, turn off VCT completely by disabling it OR simply unplug the solenoid. Just to rule out excessive exhaust pressure. I recall a video from Motive DVD about a decade ago, where Hawkins original single Garrett GTX3582 or so turbo had boost control issues sub 1.4bar of boost as well.   Food for thought? Is there anyway you can peg the WG completely open and/or dodgily not plumb it back into your exhaust system for testing purposes?
