r33 boost gauge function??!?

ok.. boost guage sits at almost -7 on idle... um moves up to the line betweeon 0 & 7 (bout half way) on full bost.. is this normal.. if not what could it mean?

petesmith its very normal. On idle you always have negative and on accelerating its positive and dont forget and this is a big thing R33 OWNERS dont realise is the factory boost gauge isnt in psi, its in mmhg or something

Have you ever pulled your dash out, cause it sounds like the dial is just sitting in the wrong pssition. Alternatively the activation spring might have reset itself. Either way the direction of movement of the dial seems normal just teh start possition.

Sledgy there is nothing wrong with the gauge, he has good vacuum at idle

Sorry guys, I've pulled a dash out before and managed to put the dials on in the wrong spot and the tacho didn't start till I was around 2,000. Thought that might be the case.
