For six months rego and initial transfer:-

License Fee: $104.05

Insurance : $113.86

GST on insurance: $11.39

Stamp duty on insurance: $12.50

Recording: $9.60

Adjustment: $0.00

Plate Fee: $18.00

Stamp Duty: $295.75

Total $565.15

You can add to that:

Movement Permit: $14.85

Inspection fee's: $136.90

All up $716.90

Hope that helps.

Yep 1990 GTR under the 15 year rule. That's what I paid in April of this year.

FYI just paid another 12 months rego and that was $466.50. Remember that the 'total' licensing fee is a total of the Insurance and the licensing fee combined plus the various GST's. So 6 months should be around the $240 mark.

Inspection Fee is actually $53.70 not $135 as the car is going through an Engineers endorsement, otherwise, it will be a full fee.

Not sure on that but it may have changed since I put mine over in April this year. If it's an import and first time inspection you need to pay the $135. The inspector checked my receipt to make sure I had paid for the proper inspection.

Yeah, that was the case but it has change now. I am a Trader and bring cars to the Pits all the time. As of 10th April (that was when the new compliance worksheet came out - Verion 10), we only need to pay like normal inspection fees - it was a new review.

it also depend on the amount that you put on the car's value, stamp duty works on the base of the car's purchas price.....

its better to bring the T/T invoice to show the amount that you paid for the "car" rather than add all the shipping cost and GST and duty.

but other costs are fixed.

Yes thats true. We all have to pay the rego like any other cars but for the transfer, it is based only the value of the car and should not include freight, GST, customs...etc. Should be between the $8k - $11k mark.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high?
