I am selling my R33 SKYLINE GTS-25t M-SPEC.

This car was imported at the start of 2001 and was first registered on 26 June 2001. I have the original receipt from this sale – the car was purchased for $31,000.00 with 45,000 KMs. The car now has 70,000 KMs.

This car is not daily driven. I have a few cars and drive this one on weekends only. I have only travelled 10,000 KMs in the past two years.

The car is 5-speed manual and turbocharged.

Now for the exterior. This car has a full bodykit. This includes:

  • Trust front bar.
  • BN rear bar.
  • BN side skirts.
  • Vented carbon fibre bonnet.
  • Bomex mirrors.
  • S2 rear wing.

All paint and panel work is by M&C Doyle in SA and is only one week old. This car does not have one single scratch or paint chip on it.

  • HKS Power Air Filter / Pod.
  • HKS front mount intercooler.
  • HKS oil catch can.
  • HKS oil filler cap.
  • R33 GTR V-Spec. fuel pump.
  • Nismo radiator cap.
  • Front strut brace.
  • NGK Iridium spark plugs.
  • Exedy heavy duty clutch ($900.00 and approximately 5,000 KMs old).
  • Lowered TEIN suspension.
  • 18-inch DTM rims.
  • R33 GTR brakes.
  • ECU chipped (in Japan).
  • Autometer boost gauge (A-pillar).
  • Apexi boost gauge (disconnected).
  • Greddy turbo timer.
  • Illuminous dials.
  • Skyline floor mats.
  • Chrome door sills with Skyline engraved.
  • Momo steering wheel.
  • Interior trim in excellent condition (low KMs).
  • Tinted windows.
  • Pioneer DEH-4350 CD player (with remote control).
  • Alpine front splits.
  • Alpine Type R rear speakers.
  • 2 x 12 inch Pioneer Diamond Bullet subs in custom box.
  • Amp.
  • Insurance approved alarm with 6-point immob.

This car is running 170 RWKW on stock boost (tested at Boostworx). This car is perfectly set up for drift. With a boost controller and Power FC, this car will run 215-230 RWKW. I have not raced or drifted this car.

ANY INSPECTION WELCOME!

I have had an NMRA inspection conducted on this car within the past 10,000 KMs and the report found the following:

1. Limited service life left on all tyres.

A. Four new tyres and a wheel alignment 5,000 KMs ago.

2. No spare wheel sighted.

A. Space saver is located in the boot under the sub box.

3. Driver side central locking switch not working.

A. Disconnected as a common safety precaution.

4. Oil wetness evident at lower side of engine bell housing.

A. Rear main seal replaced by Tilbooks (SA) at cost of $400.00.

5. Minor cracks in front bar.

A. New front bar fitted with ZERO scratches and chips (at time of writing).

Tilbooks (SA) have serviced the car. I had a major service (including timing belt) conducted at 65,000 KMs just to be sure. This is a $1000.00 service for those not aware.

I service this car myself every 3,000 to 5,000 KMs. The car runs Motul 5W40 oil and Redline Lightweight Shockproof in the gearbox.

Registration until 01/06. No more to spend. This car is MINT. Come and have a look. I may be willing to trade. Please PM any trade offers. Feel free to post or PM any questions re. this car.

Car is located in Adelaide, near Glenelg. I am happy to send this car interstate at your expense.

    • Bummer...yeah i "need" something to "ease" up the work and for my driving it would be enough.    Iam counting the tune "without" turbo. I do not mean "cheap" like something from Temu around 200 USD, "Cheap" is something around 1000 USD?
    • Starter motors used to use the weight of metal (magnets) to provide torque. Now they use (more) current instead. This. It's completely normal.
    • So thing that had me stumped, but I think is OK....is that when it was up in the air, in neutral I had it running to bleed to coolant while I put the wheels back on. I noticed the rears were turning (slowly) which I'd never seen before 20250928_163512.mp4     Because there had been an issue with clutch slip due to pedal adjustment on the dyno, I assumed there was still and issue so spent some quality time upside down under the dash adjusting the pedal....but no matter what I did the wheels still turned in neutral. Even disconnected the master cylinder to pedal rod and same. In despair, I even removed the clutch slave so there was no chance of any preload causing it.....still happened. So either: 1. Something is not right in the bellhousing, or 2. Its a thing sometimes with cold, thick gearbox oil Internet says it might be 2, I hope so!
    • OK, few more things sorted and it is ready for a shakedown on 10-Oct, with one weird thing. Changed the run in oil and filter for the good stuff. 8l came out, about 8.5 went in with filter so that looks all good. Changed the starter (again), this time for a brand new one, works good. Interesting that the Taaaarks one is shorter than factory but spins harder, I guess electronics have moved on a little in the last 30 years. Will be nice to have a bit of extra space under there. Put the timing cover back on, and noted where the cam gears were set as a record.  Will need to double check the timing but it is pretty close. Also put the coil pack cover and intake snorkel back on. Exhaust Inlet Changed the water out for coolant, bled up nicely. Removed the rear brake pads (well worn factory sumitomo ones!), gave the hardware a good clean and reassembled. I've put bendix XP on the back again because the price is excellent at $150 a set and they worked well on the V37. Front pads have plenty so no issue there
