Nismo Edition R32 Gtr 1of500, Immaculate Condition

Hey guys, I got this PM with a bit more info about the NISMO editions specifications and build options:

From the study and findings i have from contacts here and in Japan it seems that the Nismo spec are almost unique between cars like when ferrari releases a special Ed car-its almost like they were ordered in Japan from new to the cutomers specs and desires, which is why there are differences betwen the indiv cars-so ther are no concrete spec lists on them as they vary as I mentioned smile.gif

I have come across some information about Nismo edition GTRs but it's all in Japanese, however it lists the engine as being a "PLASMA-RB26DETT", why the engine had a different designation I don't know, but it's possible that the engine internals have been worked also?

Is there anyone on the forum who can read Japanese and would translate this information for me if I scanned in the article? It's about 3 pages long. Would love to be able to read what it says.

Hey Veil,

1 or 2 buyers are trying to arrange finance for the car, but I havent taken a deposit so it's still for sale. Plenty of interest, just hope it goes to a good home..

Scott,

Beautiful car. I'd look seriously at importing it to Canada if I didn't already have GTR I like.

Providing it fits Canada's 15 yr rule, (Car is a '91 model or older) you might want to advertise it on www.gtrcanada.com.

Quite a few people are selling GTRs here and it's a bit of buyers market, but your car looks to be a cut above almost anything I've seen in Canada. Our dollar is pretty strong right now, so even with shipping it could be considered affordable here.

I'm sending a link to a mate who's looking for the 'perfect' GTR.

Nissan announced the release of the limited edition Skyline GT-R Nismo with the purpose of participating in the JTC Group A (Japan Touringcar Championship). Engine durability and reliability have been improved by adopting the metal TO4B turbine instead of the ceramic TO3 turbine. The Skyline GT-R Nismo is equipped with a front bumper with air intake, a hood top mold, a small rear spoiler under its stock rear spoiler, and Nismo stickers. ABS, air conditioner, audio, and rear wiper have been removed to reduce weight.

The car is as described above except it has a stereo, and aircon fitted.
