Hi guys i know im new to the forums. I just wanted to know about what sort of price i would get for selling privately my totally stock silver/grey 1999 R34 GT-T 4 door, tiptronic. its in immaculate condition (25,000 km's), first aussie owner, only been here for about 2 months and has a mongoose alarm.

Also my bf has a 1995 r33 coupe, auto with about 74,000 km's, good condition, viper immobiliser, pretty much stock except for stereo worth about $2000. How much u reckon he could get for his car?

Attached are pics of both cars

assuming the 33 is turbo (5 stud wheels so i guess it is?) being an auto is gonna knock a few k off the price unfortunately.

dont expect to get anything back for the stereo either....you lose when selling a modified car

$12-$15k tops i rekin

Why are you selling ur R34? And if your a newbie, how on earth did u get an R34 unles you bought the car blind folded?

Firstly, a 6 year old car with 25,000kms on it which means about 4,500kms a year. People will have a hard time trying to believe that.

Secondly, howcome you are selling the GTT? Does it even have a license plate?

The car parked in front of the GTT doesn't have a plate too. Is this car even in Australia?

I just wanted to know what sort of price i could get for it if i did sell it as i don't know what price to even advertise it at........

As for how on earth i bought a 34.....well it was quite simple actually i imported it and it has been quite a driving experience since ive had it.

Why would i have had to be blindfolded????

Well it does have log books in the glove box, but since im not too fluent in japanese i cant quite read them. but i was told that they were genuine km's and it is in pristine condition.

Secondly i didnt say for sure that i was selling it i was merely asking on what sort of price i could get if i sold it.

yes it does have licence plates, the photo was taken at the compliance shop (which would explain ur next point about the other car) and i havent taken any newer pics.

So it would be appreciated if anyone can tell me what sort of price i would get for it if i was to sell it?

thankyou

    • You Gregged a whole racetrack!?
    • Look for broken wire or bad connector at the motor. Might not be it, but is worth starting there, as it is easy.
    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
