Just put in a new globe for signal indicator. And notice that there is actually a H3 globe in the fog light which never been switched on as there is no switch can be found in the car.

Then check the fuse box in the bonnet and discovered that the FOG LAMP fuse is not there. Plug in a fuse for it for it didn't light up still when i swicth on the headlight.

Anyone out there got any ideas how to switch on the light please?

Thank you! =>

Anyone else??

You are looking for the front fog light ISO symbol. See Attachment.

As modr33s2 states, it should in this case be a rotary knob bout halfway along the headlight stalk. Once activated (your headlights will also need be on either park, low or highbeam) you should, or might, see a green pilot light.

UNLESS they were added by another owner and that owner removed the switch, (after-market) or not. If that is the case, add a relay and seek your own switch. Narva have specific fog light switches bearing the front fog light symbol.

Does the fog lamp lens bear any markings?? "02B" is the code you need for front fog lights. If the code is HR, then these are 'driving lights'. (B = fog, R = driving light).

It is my view that people should consider a rear-fog light as their 'primary' defence against rear-end collision during times of heavy rain, fog, snow, dust or bushfire smoke, before even bothering with front fog lights, which really are 'a luxury'.

My car is Series 1 R33gtst. Went to have a look in the car. Cannot find anything that look like the symbol u show me. Too bad. Probably it is just an aftermarket one and the siwtch was took away by the previous owner.

I think i need to get myself a new switch and new a electrictian to rewire it for me..( do i need one?) Intend to fix the new switch on the previous antenna switch which is sitting useless on the dashboard.

I am unsure as to the 'shape' of the antennae switch your refer, but I would suggest you might have luck with Narva Part 62058BL, this bears a Green LED, but no symbol, it is easiest to install, those below need some 'trimming' of a cars fascia. See this weblink:

OR you could try Narva Part 62025BL, see top of that link, you fit the front fog symbol and the green lens to the switch; OR

Perhaps better still - Narva Part: 63027BL This is a dedicated front fog light switch. See near the bottom of this link.

Again, can you see any markings on the lens of the light?

    • Hello, first of, I’ve looked at many threads on this code but none have helped me, if you know one that will help me feel free to post a link.   Now to my problem. Recently I was driving and noticed the check engine light came on. I went home and did the test to see what code it gave. I got the 21 code but everything seems fine with the car, no misfire, idle is good, acceleration is the same as when I bought it. I mean no signs of obvious failure. If no misfire is happening I can rule out the coil packs right? Which is about 98% of posts saying it is. If anyone has had this happen and found the issues let me know please. No other lights are on.   The car WAS due for an oil change. I since then changed it so idk if that triggers code 21. Either way it hasn’t turned off.
    • Your both right, it may hold a bit longer then.  Soon I need to change the synchros, should I fit the billet plate while I'm at it? Or just a waste of money?
