NISSAN ECU INTERFACE CABLE, USB version with NISSAN DATASCAN 1-4 and DATALOG VIEWER Software.

For those who aren't familiar with these, the cable allows you to connect your laptop to your cars ECU(computer)via the diagnostic/OBD1 port.(pictured here) littleOBD1-T.jpg

Simply plug in, no installing required.

Once the NISSAN DataScan 1-4 software is installed onto your laptop you are able to view/monitor most of your engine sensors real time, read fault codes and clear them, perform active tests such as power balance, make temporary adjustments to ignition timing, injector cycles, fuel pump and more, great diagnostic/ monitoring tool.

You are also able to record logfiles of your car and with the new Datalog Viewer software, quickly transform this information to an easy to read colour coded graph.

The cable length, approx 1.8m, allows it to be used from the passenger seat or in the engine bay.

These cables are commercial quality and are used in some of our major workshops, they are not the home hobbiest version but a highly developed, micro enginered product. They DO NOT have the interface box along the cable.

Prices: Dedicated USB Cable alone : $120

Nissan DataScan +USB Cable: $155

Complete package of USB ECU Interface Cable, Nissan DataScan and Datalog Viewer software : $180

There is a RS232(serial) version of the cable also available, it is $20 less than the USB version.

P+H $10

Payment by bank transfer is preferred.

I am located Nth of Wollongong but will post worldwide.

  • 4 weeks later...

I will be at ORAN PARK Raceway tomorrow morning for the trackday, so if anyone would like to see this system in action or just use it to run a check on their car, please drop me an email to sort times.

Kind Regards,

Caz.. :)

**I will also have the PDA diagnostic tuner 'EcuXtend' demo unit with me :)

Hi Dave, I intend to sell them for quite a while! They system will work on nearly all performance Nissans between 89 and 97; so yes it will definitely work with an R33 just as nicely as an R32. The software was actually written for an R33.

It plugs into your diagnostic port, which is usually near the drivers right foot.

Caz... ;)

Hi Paulie_Bro,

Both the softwares are registered and have 12mths support and UPGRADES emailed direct to the email address you supply me with.

Cheers,

Caz.. :D

are the sotware upgrade free once you've bought??

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
