Item: R32 GTR Wheels (16x8inch +30 offset 5x114.3) - Pair

Item Condition: Second hand (repainted)

Reason for Selling: Unneeded (need $$$!)

Price and Payment Conditions: $300 for the rims, if you want the tyres that are on them, I can throw in for $100. negotiable. Pick up & payment in cash preferable.

Extra Info:

Have been repainted, close to standard colour, but probably not exact match. Haven't been used since I repainted them. Very light gutter rash, but otherwise, no buckles or anything like that.

Tyres are bridgestone turanza er30 225/55/16 with very decent tread (see pic)

Was going to use these baby's for drift (very good lightweight wheel with nice offset & width), but need cash...

Item: Work 15inch - Pair

Item Condition: Drifted...

Reason for Selling: not needed

Price and Payment Conditions: $80 Pick up & payment in cash preferable.

Extra Info:

paint is a little flakey on inside of spokes. Has been used for drift, but no major damage or anything.

15x6.5 JJ +55 offset

multi stud pattern 5x114.3 5x100 (i think)

These fit ok on my R32, they just cleared the brake calipers on rear. In fact, i used a 3mm spacer just to be safe - I can throw them in.

These would also suit RX7's and cars with higher offset stock, but don't think they will fit r33 or r34 without something to space them.

suggest they be used for drift. The tyres on them, are more or less bald.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
