To keep the people who complained out of the forum. If their fragile minds can't handle the smutty humour then they shouldn't be subject to such childish jokes and gutter language.....

Personally I think TW is part of NSW, and shouldn't be segregated like it is now. I enjoyed reading the funny TW threads.

Then you should be given access (Not that you haven't somehow managed to take it anyway....) to the forum.

PLEASE PM these people to me or one of the mods.

I DON"T KNOW OF ANY ........ ! ! ! ! ! ! !

And if I don't know - I can't do anything about it !!

You don't get it. Once again I'll repeat myself. You want to make it public and put a disclaimer. OK. I have no doubt it'll turn out like the wasteland. People will still whinge DESPITE the disclaimer, and of course you'll crack down and not allow stuff. Why? Because you want it to be a "family safe" website. Well, if this is the case, then you'd have to do the same thing to the westside forum you did to the wasteland then. Wasteland has a disclaimer doesn't it? Yet you insist no hot chick threads etc, cause you want "family safe". Double stanards galore. Yeah, nice work :)

Exactly my point SmoothLine. Exactly my point. You just add people in as they agree not to whinge, done and done. Then all someone has to do is say "I'd like access to the westside forum please, i enjoy reading their threads" and then you add them in. Takes 30 seconds to do.

How is that supposed to happen when people don't know about the hidden forum?

In any case, lemme in :)

Since I don't have access yet, I will post here :

Being a mod of the NSW section, I have found none of the private TW threads offensive at all. In fact I have found most of them to be to be quite funny.

I do take offence to be being precluded from the TW section. And the narrow mindedness of certain ppl from TW.

But I think Minh is a funny bastard !!! :)

That is all .

that's easier said than done ryan. see what you didn't think of when you went ahead and created this section without asking was the implications. you can't create just this one secret forum. if this stays then squizz wants a garage spank section. there'll be numerous other factions asking for one and we'll have crap everywhere. but if that's what everyone wants then it will be done. it is everyones forum after all!

Merli: People who read it previously would obviously know about it by now, There's been multiple threads mentioning it, everybody that cruises now knows about it, you found out from your friend, etc.. you get what i mean. Anybody who read it anyway will or probrably has already heard about it, so as people think "hey! i liked reading that! i want access!" they can go and ask to be added, those who didn't read it, didn't care, don't have to and won't take any notice...

    • Then, shorten them by 1cm, drop the car back down and have a visual look (or even better, use a spirit level across the wheel to see if you have less camber than before. You still want something like 1.5 for road use. Alternatively, if you have adjustable rear ride height (I assume you do if you have extreme camber wear), raise the suspension back to standard height until you can get it all aligned properly. Finally, keep in mind that wear on the inside of the tyre can be for incorrect toe, not just camber
    • I know I have to get a wheel alignment but until then I just need to bring the rear tyres in a bit they're wearing to the belt on the inside and brand new on the outside edge. I did shorten the arms a bit but got it wrong now after a few klms the Slip and VDC lights come on. I'd just like to get it to a point where I can drive for another week or two before getting an alignment. I've had to pay a lot of other stuff recently so doing it myself is my only option
    • You just need a wheel alignment after, so just set them to the same as current and drive to the shop. As there are 2 upper links it may also be worth adding adjustable upper front links at the same time; these reduce bump steer when you move the camber (note that setting those correctly takes a lot longer as you have to recheck the camber at each length of the toe arm, through a range of movement, so you could just ignore that unless the handling becomes unpredictable)
    • I got adjustable after market rear camber arm to replace the stock one's because got sick of having to buy new rear tyres every few months. Can anyone please let me know what the best adjustment length would be. I don't have the old ones anymore to get measurements. I'm guessing the stock measurement minus a few mm would do it. Please any help on replacing them would be fantastic I've watched the YouTube clips but no-one talks about how long to set the camber arm to.
    • Heh. I copied the link to the video direct, instead of the thread I mentioned. But the video is the main value content anyway. Otherwise, yes, in Europe, surely you'd be expected to buy local. Being whichever flavour of Michelin, Continental or Pirelli suits your usage model.
