car bogging down

Hi my names Mark,

I just recently bought a Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T, which I am so happy with. I drives nice although while I'm driving sometimes I feel the car stop excelerating. It has been stalling a few times also. I think that the wiring to the air flow meter is the problem, because if I move the wire while its running I hear the car bogg down.

Have any of you guys experienced anything like this???

Any kind of Feedback would be most appreciated.

The other day the plug came out of my S-AFC - basically the car wouldn't rev above 2500rpm because of the default "safety" mode of the ECU (to stop damage as it doesn't really know what mixtures its running).

Definitely sounds like an AFM problem.

Yep.. think your on the money with the afm problem, just get a new one, they arent to expensive..

Yesterday I Replaced my AFM and now its driving a heap better. I have really noticed the difference in performance and also I have no bogging down problems anymore.

Did you end up replacing the plugs? Anyway cant wait to get my car back so we can go for a cruise

yeh man I replaced them with those NGK'S you told me to get.

I cant wait to see how well your beast moves when I comes back!!

You cant wait? I got some new NGK's for the new engine the other day. Well it sounds like you have done everything you needed to the car ... just needa tune now and then you can give it a*** h**** all day
