Problem: Recieving 1 email for every post in every thread that I am subscribed to.

Is it possible to recieve only 1 email for a new post in a subscribed thread (until I view that new post/thread) rather than receiving 14 new emails for 14 new posts all in the same thread all within 1hr.

I'm sure it was how I mentioned above with the old version of forum software but has been changed to this since the new forum software?

absolutely sends me mad as well no wonder i have been grumpy lately.

Also it would be nice to have the topic of the thread as the topic of the email

when subscribing to a topic you have the following options:

No Email Notification

This option will not send out any email notification but will retain the topic or forum in your subscriptions panel.

Delayed Emailed Notification

This option will send out a notification if a new topic or reply has been made and you're not active on the board.

Immediate Email Notification

This option will send out a notification immediately after a new topic or reply has been made regardless of your activity.

Daily Email Digest

This option will send out a daily digest showing all new replies or topics for that day

Weekly Email Digest

This option will send out a weekly digest showing all new replies or topics for that week

You can choose which of these it defaults to under your "Email Settings" in your control panel. At this moment in time, its one notification per reply, hopefully once I have the forum scripting sorted out I can make it collate replies.

also, I've made an alteration to the forum scripts that sends the thread title n the notification emails you recieve. I'm still testing it so any feedback is appreciated, esp ones where something's wrong.

please post about it here:

The main thing you're trying to do is replace the parts that perish, like seals. You're not attempting to change the valving. You might even be able to find somewhere that has the Tein parts/rebuild kit if you dig hard.
