A new performance shop has just opened/opening called "PSI parts" in Dandenong, Melbourne.

They just did me a great deal on new clutch/flywheel etc for my R33 and the guy said they are setting up a website to ship Australia wide. Super friendly service and quick delivery, one of the lads drove into the city of Melb to drop a part to my door good blokes.

Since i was so happy with the service i thought i'd give them a free plug and suggested they print off some stickers for skyline guys which is happening as we speak so if u want a sticker send me a PM.

If you want some performance parts (Intercoolers, clutches, fly wheels, boost control etc) give Shane a ring on 0411237219, tell him Heath referred you.

They also do body kits and painting etc

Well its dale from PSI Parts here, I’ve joined the forums because I’m converting from a commodore (don't hate me) into the skyline world. I will be getting a R32 GTR within the next few months.

As heath suggested we are in the final steps of completing the website to accept credit cards and offer a wide range of products for car enthusiasts. Because we are car nuts ourselves we pride ourself on the best service we can provide. If you need any performance part please give us a try, you will be surprised with our competitive pricing.

The current website is temporary which mainly has our body kits on it can be found at: www.psiparts.com.au, stay tuned for the new one that will replace this within the next few weeks. If you mention you are from the SAU forums and we will do our best to give you an even better price (sometimes this is not possible due to the already competitive prices, but we will try)

Happy modifying :D

Well i gave the site a look today and it seems that you guys are trying really hard to get a good name out there for yourselves.

I'm in the market for a bodykit so i might just give you guys a try if the price is right.

From the phone call i just had with them, it seems customer service is up to scratch, they seem to know about the products they are selling.

Ill have a stab and see how it goes. Ill be sure to post feedback on here, and im hoping it will be good feedback. Never the less, i'll let you guys know how this deal goes.

The more feedback the better, be it good or bad, since any sort of feedback will let us gauge what we are doing right and wrong.

To me its not just another performance shop, because I love cars and its more than a thing that gets you from A to B. Making business is not the be all and end all. It's seeing guys, and girls, modify their cars to how they like it, so if the customers are happy then so are we.

Any chance of adding 350Z parts? There's heaps of aussie Z owners here if you are interested:

Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure we can work something out, is there anything in particular you are after? Feel free to PM me with details.

Just to give you a hint of whats to come, we are investigating at producing clear indicators for R32s at a very reasonable price, as well all know they are extremly over priced but make the front end look a whole lot better. Could even possibly do a group buy to reduce the price even more. Expect more in the next few months.

Hey Dale it's good to see a new SAU crew member especially one dealing in Skyline parts. Nice to hear your tossing the Commodore - there is something about commodores and tossing that just goes together (Jokes) - not. :D

The clear inidcators for the 32's is going to be a HOT item if you can do them at a reasonable price.

GTR R32 nice one Bro - I have freind in Canberra who has several already imported being complied if your still searching.

Cheers

Richard

    • Yeah pretty impressive hey, good to see quality products not over-shooting their prices. That's what drew me to buy the hypergear turbo, just a shame I've never got the chance to see it in action
    • Thank you GTSBoy and MBS206 I have done the compression test with the motor out of the vehicle, reason for the test was to see if I needed to remove the head and do rings etc while its out. I'm in the process of respraying the vehicle and tidying up a few things. Story behind it all is I've just purchased the skyline and it was running when I got it, never drove it on the street though as I wanted to pull it down and do it all up again before registering it. the gentleman I purchased it from told me the motor has a forged bottom end and has a decent tune through it but I was going to pull the sump off anyway to see if it is a forged bottom end. that's why I thought id do a compression test beforehand.
    • Man, I'm kind of amazed that the price of the turbo has not changed in 7 years. Everything else is inflating beyond reason, but not this? Good on Tao / hypergear I guess? Anyways, good luck with the sale!
    • I'm selling my brand new, in the box, never used Hypergear ATR45 - and I had some additions I paid for a few yrs back when I purchased it. Never ended up having the rest of the money to add all the mods at once, so I just ended up slowly selling each part. I originally had it internally gated, with the dump pipe, however I found it was incompatible with what I was going to use it for, so I contacted (I think Ken) from Hypergear, and he and I messaged back and forth & he got me to ship the turbo back, where they modified it & made it externally gated, and gave me the 5 bolt dump pipe attachment for custom welding. (Photos below) This turbo like I said has never touched the inside of an engine bay, it's completely brand new, never used, been sitting in the same box it arrived in, covered in plastic & all. Below are the photos of it: And while the guys at Hypergear were making it in-shop, they sent me some photos of the process: I'm looking at selling this just because I'm in need of the money right now, and don't have plans on modifying the 34 anytime soon - and from reviews & peformance sheets, this turbo had amazing results back when I was researching. The turbo was purchased in 2018 for $1.9k, with the mods I got added on. Looking at the website now, for the same turbo they sell (ATR45SAT), with the current addons it adds up to $1830 for the turbo Current addons included: - Bolted dump adaptor - Ball bearing CHRA - Braided oil feeding line So I'm looking to possibly sell it for around $1800, with shipping included in that 1.8k, It cost me around $120 to ship - so yeah thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone was interested in purchasing. Cheers!
